This new offering is designed for startups and global enterprises alike providing flexible, scalable access to premium, connected space

Sofia, Bulgaria - 12th June 2025: NetIX, a leading global connectivity platform and home of the unique and award-winning Global Internet Exchange (GIX), has launched a new colocation service across select sites in its global network footprint. Designed to be accessible, flexible, and high-performance, this new service meets the demands of both emerging and established businesses looking to expand their infrastructure in a smarter and more efficient way.

Unlike traditional data centre providers that often require full-cabinet minimums, NetIX’s colocation service makes smaller footprints viable - ideal for startups, smaller networks, and companies entering new markets. Customers can take only what they need: from a few units to a half rack or a full cabinet, all located within data centres where NetIX’s high-performance network is already operating.

“We’ve built a global network that’s highly connected and agile - now we’re giving our customers direct access to that infrastructure,” said Dean Belev, VP of Connectivity Services at NetIX. “Whether you’re a startup with modest space requirements or a larger player testing the waters in a new market, our colocation offering gives you enterprise-grade reliability and reach without the enterprise-size commitment.”

This new colocation service is also a smart choice for larger companies who want a regional presence without investing in a full rack. With space already secured in strategic data centres around the world, NetIX can provision quickly and deliver connectivity and colocation through a single port and contract, dramatically simplifying infrastructure management. Similarly, this allows customers access to a huge range of other carriers, networks, content delivery networks, and ISPs that aren’t available directly from NetIX’s platform.

Space is currently available in 11 major data centres across key international markets, with plans to expand further as demand grows, and it’s encouraged that visitors check back regularly or follow NetIX updates to stay informed as new locations become available.

Colocation customers will benefit from:

• Flexible options with scalability (single units, half rack, etc)

• Locations inside otherwise-hard-to-access premium data centres

• Direct access to 220+ on-net locations and -

• Remote peering, and access to NetIX’s award-winning Global Internet Exchange (GIX) with access to 50+ IXPs via just one cross connect

• Simple, cost-effective provisioning via one point of contact

These new colocation options are already fully available for NetIX customers and partners; if you’re looking to expand your network’s reach without risk, get in touch with the NetIX team: [email protected]
