"The support for startups plays a significant role in advancing the quest for creative solutions to global challenges," said Neven Dilkov, founder and CEO of Neterra.
Neterra - the parent company of NetIX - has initiated a Startup Accelerator program with the aim of nurturing and supporting startups. Under this program, Neterra is providing complimentary or substantially reduced services encompassing cloud, colocation, connectivity, and cybersecurity.
The Neterra.Cloud offering is built on cutting-edge Intel(R) Xeon(R) Platinum processors, offering unlimited data traffic and scalable enterprise-class storage solutions. This package also includes free backup, disaster recovery solutions, and DDoS protection for the initial 6 months.
In a bid to further assist innovative startups, Neterra grants access to colocation services in their Tier-III+ Datacenters, including EU based Sofia Data Center 1 (SDC 1), Sofia Data Center 2 (SDC 2), SDC Stolnik, and SDC Ruse, coupled with their high-quality carrier-grade connectivity and global internet exchange through the NetIX platform.
For the first 6 months, Neterra covers the expenses, while startups are responsible for their electricity costs. Following this initial period, the global telecom extends discounted colocation services starting at starting at 12 euros/1U rack unit/month.
Additionally, Neterra is extending consultancy services to program beneficiaries, offering expertise in network architecture, hardware and software recommendations, configuration, best practices, and managed services for cloud, application servers, hosting providers, and more.
The current startup support program is a continuation of Neterra's longstanding commitment to assisting startups, a tradition that has been upheld since the company's inception nearly three decades ago. Back then, Neterra played a pivotal role in helping numerous internet providers launch and prosper. In more recent times, Neterra has demonstrated its dedication to supporting startups, as exemplified by its involvement with ucha.se, an online learning platform. The founder of ucha.se, Darin Madzharov, crossed paths with Neven Dilkov, the founder of Neterra, through a mentoring program aimed at nurturing and guiding young talents. In the early stages of development, Neterra extended its support to this budding entrepreneur by offering complimentary services during the initial months.
As ucha.se gained widespread popularity, the platform continued its association with Neterra, relying on the company for all its telecommunications needs. Today, ucha.se operates on an international scale and serves hundreds of thousands of customers, including students, teachers, parents, and pupils.
The platform's business is on a steady growth trajectory, and Neterra's network engineers and IT experts consistently expand resources and tailor solutions to meet the evolving needs of their valued customers.
Neterra founder and CEO Neven Dilkov shares more about his motivation for supporting startups: "By helping startups, we accelerate the process of finding innovative solutions to global challenges. Startups introduce new ideas, products, and services that can transform industries and stimulate economic growth. By supporting startups, we foster an environment where groundbreaking solutions can thrive and contribute to the overall economy."
He continued, "Also, by supporting startups from their early stages, we can build lasting partnerships that benefit both parties. As startups grow and succeed, they become loyal and appreciative partners, fostering a sense of community and trust."
