NetIX upgrades its LINX connection to 100G
Sofia, Bulgaria – 22nd June 2021: NetIX, the leading global distributed platform for award-winning connectivity and peering solutions has upgraded its port and capacity into LINX, the London Internet Exchange, to 100G in order to keep up with high customer demand.
This upgrade will enable NetIX to continue providing access for its 180+ members to LINX via either its remote peering or GIX (Global Internet Exchange) solutions.

With this upgrade, NetIX’s members who remote peer at LINX’s LON1 interconnection platform in London, benefit from improved latency, resiliency, and more routing control across their networks with LINX’s 990+ strong membership community including all major cloud, data communication, financial, telco, and enterprise companies from more than 80 countries worldwide.
“Upgrading our port and capacity to LINX allows and enables us to continue carrying ever-increasing amounts of member traffic to and from the London-based IXP,” said Dean Belev, VP of Services at NetIX. He continued, “As a reseller it means we have zero limitations in the near future for offering access into LINX for networks not wanting to invest heavily in expensive hardware and infrastructure especially in such a volatile business market with the COVID-19 pandemic.”
